Introduction of IKMEE
Recognition and Accreditation
On May 20, 2016, the Ministry of Education officially recognized IKMEE as an 'Authorized Association of Accreditation' for Korean Medicine education.
This recognition was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Association of Korean Medicine (AKOM), the Korean Medicine Hospitals' Association (KOMHA), the Society of Korean Medicine (SKOM), and the Association of College of Korean Medicine (ACKM), as well as the 12 Korean Medicine universities and our dedicated accreditation board members.
IKMEE was jointly established with active participation from these organizations, all of which continue to contribute annual operational fees to support its activities. With this official endorsement from the Government of the Republic of Korea, IKMEE has firmly established itself as a credible medical education evaluation agency for Korean Medicine education.
